1. Be Prepared:

Make sure you limit your trips into the attic by having your tools and parts with you when you go into the attic.

2. Communicate:

Be in constant communication with dispatch. Office, if you haven’t heard from a technician in a while, make contact with them, be proactive, not reactive.

3. Map out Hazards:

Make sure that you are aware of any hazards in the attic such as electrical or weak floor boards.

4. Stay Hydrated:

Make sure you are drinking plenty of water and electrolyte replacement fluids. Stay away from caffeine and sugary drinks.

5. Control Heat Exposure:

Limit the amount of time you spend in the attic, the hotter the attic the less time you can safely stay in there.
